Is the Elbeth sofa good for everyday family use?

Yes, if the size fits. The polyester cover wipes clean and the attached cushions hold their shape without constant fluffing. The low 29-inch height is the main trade-off for taller users.

How big is it, exactly?

It measures 96 inches wide, 39 inches deep and 29 inches high, with a 26-inch seat depth. Measure your doorways and stair turns before ordering, since 96 inches is a long piece.

Can I remove the cushion covers to wash them?

No. The cushions are attached and the covers are not designed to be removed. Spot clean the polyester with a mild cleaner instead.

Does it come assembled?

Expect the legs to need attaching; the frame and cushions arrive as one piece. Confirm delivery and assembly terms with the store at checkout.

When is the best time to buy it?

Macy's furniture typically discounts around major holiday sales and clearance events. Track the price history and buy when a quote drops clearly below its recent range.

How does it compare with a standard 84-inch sofa?

It adds about a foot of width, which gives room for an extra seated person. In return it needs a bigger room and a longer delivery path.

Our take on the Macy's Elbeth Fabric Estate Sofa

The Macy's Elbeth is a 96-inch-wide contemporary sofa with track arms, a button-tufted back and attached cushions, upholstered in 100% polyester. Its 26-inch seat depth and 2.5 HR foam with a 1-inch poly wrap suit lounging more than upright sitting. The 29-inch overall height is low, so check it against your room before buying. No current price was provided, so compare any quote against its own recent range before committing.
