Our take on the Macy's Women's 2-Pc. Amethyst & White Topaz Pendant Necklace & Earrings Set

A two-piece set from Macy's: a pendant necklace and drop earrings in sterling silver, set with amethyst and white topaz. The purple amethyst gives it a dressy look, while the white topaz adds sparkle at a lower cost than diamonds. It is sold new at $135 at Macy's as of November 6, 2026, and only one store lists it, so there is no lower price to compare against.

Best forGift for a February birthdayWedding guest or cocktail outfitSomeone who prefers purple stones to clear onesMatching set buyers who want necklace and earrings together
Pros
  • Sterling silver settings, not plated base metal
  • Amethyst and white topaz together give color plus sparkle
  • Necklace and earrings match without shopping for both
  • Drop earrings suit dressy occasions
  • One price covers the full set
Cons
  • Only one store sells it, so no price competition
  • Amethyst is softer than quartz-family stones and can scratch
  • Sterling silver tarnishes and needs polishing
  • Drop earrings are less practical for everyday wear

Questions and answers

Is $135 a good price for this set?
It is the only new price listed, $135 at Macy's as of November 6, 2026, so there is nothing cheaper to compare it with. Judge it against what you would pay for a sterling silver pendant and a pair of drop earrings bought separately.
What stones are in the set?
Amethyst is the main purple stone in the pendant and earrings, with white topaz used as the accent stones. Both are set in sterling silver.
Can I wear the earrings every day?
They are drop earrings, so they suit dresses and occasions more than casual days. Amethyst also scratches more easily than harder stones like diamond or sapphire, so save them for gentler wear.
Does the set come in a gift box?
Macy's fine jewelry usually arrives in a box suitable for gifting, but confirm the packaging on the product page before buying it as a gift.
How should I care for sterling silver and amethyst?
Keep the pieces away from perfume, lotion and water, and wipe them with a soft cloth after wearing. Store them in a dry pouch; a silver polishing cloth removes tarnish without harsh dips that can affect the stones.
Where is the Macy's Women's 2-Pc. Amethyst & White Topaz Pendant Necklace & Earrings Set cheapest?
At Macy's, for $135.00, 70% off, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Macy's Women's 2-Pc. Amethyst & White Topaz Pendant Necklace & Earrings Set?
Rated 4.3 out of 5 from 6 ratings.
