Is $270 a good price for this ring?

It is the only new price tracked, at Macy's as of November 6, 2026. With no other store selling it new, there is nothing to compare against, so judge it on the 1-carat weight and silver setting rather than on a discount.

Will the silver tarnish?

Yes. Sterling silver darkens over time, especially with perfume, lotion and humidity. Store it dry and polish it with a silver cloth to keep it bright.

Is 1 carat a lot for a silver ring?

One carat total is a substantial look, but in silver it is spread across several small stones rather than one large center stone. Expect sparkle rather than a single showpiece.

Can I wear it every day?

It can be worn daily, but silver scratches and dents more easily than gold. Take it off for gym, cleaning and swimming to protect the setting and the finish.

The ring is sold as a single piece in size 7. Macy's typically ships jewelry in a gift box, but confirm the packaging at checkout if you plan to give it.

Does it come in other sizes?

This listing is size 7 only. Check Macy's other diamond ring listings for additional sizes or resizing options.

Our take on the Macy's Women's Diamond Ring

A sterling silver ring set with 1 carat of diamonds, sized 7. It is a budget entry into a diamond ring, since a full carat in silver costs far less than the same weight in gold. At $270 at Macy's as of November 6, 2026, it is the only new price tracked, so there is no recent range to compare it against.
