Our take on the Madison Park Melby Upholstered 360° Swivel Armchair, Tan Floral (Set of 2)

The Madison Park Melby is an upholstered armchair with a tan floral print and a 360-degree swivel base, sold as a pair. Each chair holds up to 300 lb on a manufactured wood frame, so it suits living rooms, bedrooms or a reading nook where you want to turn toward the conversation. The best new price is $890 for the set of two at Wayfair as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no cheaper new option to compare against.

Pros
  • Sold as a set of two, so a pair is covered in one purchase
  • 360-degree swivel makes it easy to turn without moving the chair
  • 300 lb weight capacity per chair suits most adults
  • Tan floral upholstery adds pattern without a bold color commitment
  • Upholstered seat and back are softer than a plain wood or metal chair
Cons
  • Manufactured wood frame is not solid hardwood
  • Floral print is a strong style choice that will not suit every room
  • Only one store lists it new, so price competition is limited
  • No removable or washable cover mentioned, which matters for a light tan fabric

Questions and answers

Is the Madison Park Melby chair sold as one chair or two?
It is sold as a set of two chairs. The $890 price at Wayfair as of November 4, 2026 covers the pair, not a single chair.
How much weight does each Melby swivel chair hold?
Each chair is rated for 300 lb. That covers most adults, but check the figure if you expect two people to share one chair.
Does the chair swivel all the way around?
Yes. The base gives a full 360-degree swivel, so you can turn from a table to a TV or to someone across the room.
Is the floral fabric easy to clean?
The listing does not describe a removable or washable cover, so treat the tan floral upholstery as spot-clean only. A light fabric shows stains, so keep drinks and pets in mind.
Is $890 a good price for the pair?
Only one store lists the set new at $890 as of November 4, 2026, so there is no lower new price to compare against. Watch for seasonal furniture sales at Wayfair if you are not in a hurry.
What is the frame made of?
The frame is manufactured wood, not solid hardwood. That keeps the price down but makes it less suited to heavy daily use than a hardwood frame.
Where is the Madison Park Melby Upholstered 360° Swivel Armchair, Tan Floral (Set of 2) cheapest?
At Wayfair, for $890.00, as of our latest check.
