Our take on the Magnetic Wireless Charger Charging Pad

This is a compact magnetic wireless charging pad that snaps onto MagSafe-compatible iPhones and also charges AirPods, so it works as a 2-in-1 station. It is small (about 4 by 1.7 by 3.7 inches, 0.5 lb) and comes with a 1.2 m cable for extended reach, plus overcharge protection and foreign object detection. It lists USB-A and USB-C connectors, which is unusual for a magnetic pad and worth checking against your adapter. No price was provided, so compare current listings before buying.

Questions and answers

Is this worth it over a plain Qi pad?
If you have an iPhone 13 or newer, the magnets keep the phone aligned, which avoids the misplacement that stops plain pads from charging. If you use a case thicker than about 2–3 mm or a non-MagSafe case, a plain pad may work just as well.
Does it come with a power adapter?
The listing does not say a wall adapter is included, only a 1.2 m cable. You will likely need a USB-C power adapter rated for fast charging to get the top speed.
Will it charge through a phone case?
It works with thin MagSafe-compatible cases. Thick, metal-backed or non-magnetic cases can weaken the grip and slow charging.
Can it charge an Apple Watch?
No. It lists AirPods and iPhone 13–16 only, so an Apple Watch needs its own charger.
Is it safe to leave on overnight?
It has overcharge protection and foreign object detection, so it is designed for overnight bedside use. Keep metal objects off the pad.
