Are the pushers removable?

No. The pushers are attached to the racks, which is the main selling point. That keeps pieces together but means a broken pusher means replacing the whole rack.

Will these fit standard mahjong tiles?

Yes. They are standard-length racks meant for a full wall of American mahjong tiles. Very thick or oversized tile sets may fit tightly.

How do these compare to plain plastic racks?

They cost more and look better, with a tortoise-shell finish and attached pushers. Plain plastic racks are cheaper and easier to replace but usually come as separate racks and pushers.

How should I care for the acrylic?

Wipe with a soft damp cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners. Store racks stacked or in a case, and don't drop them, since acrylic can crack or chip.

What comes in the set?

Four acrylic racks with attached pushers in a tortoise-shell pattern. Tiles and a carrying case are not included.

When is the best time to buy?

Mahjong accessories tend to dip around gift-giving season and during set sales. Check the price history before buying, since no current price is listed.

Our take on the Mahjong Racks with Magnetic Pushers, Set of 4, 17.5" Acrylic

This is a set of four acrylic mahjong racks in a tortoise-shell finish, each with its pusher attached so you don't have to line up two separate pieces. The racks hold a full wall of tiles and stack to about 18.5 inches. They are a style upgrade over plain plastic racks, but acrylic can scratch, crack or chip if dropped. No current price was given for this set, so compare it against other acrylic rack-and-pusher sets before buying.
