Is the Mainstays Albany Lane bistro set worth it?

For a balcony or small patio on a budget, yes. At $42.99 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, it costs less than most two-chair sets. Expect light-duty steel, not heirloom furniture.

Does it need assembly?

No. The table and both chairs come ready to use, and the chairs fold flat for storage.

How much weight do the chairs hold?

Each chair is rated to 250 lb. That is lower than many patio chairs, so check before buying for larger adults.

What colors does it come in?

Red, black, navy, tan and teal. All use the same steel frame and round table.

Can it stay outside in the rain?

The steel is rust-resistant and the finish is fade-resistant, but it is not fully weatherproof. Bring it in or cover it through winter and heavy storms to slow rust at the joints.

End-of-season clearance in late summer and fall is when patio sets drop most. The current $42.99 at eBay is already near the bottom of its usual range.
