The Mainstays Countertop Ice Maker is a portable bullet-ice machine that fits on a counter and delivers a stated output of up to 26 lb of ice per 24 hours. Each batch yields 9 bullet ice cubes in a stated cycle of 6-15 minutes, drawing from a 1.2 L water reservoir, so you can keep ice coming for everyday drinks or when company is over. You can select between two ice sizes to match what you're serving: the small size suits soda, beer, and other beverages, while the large size works well for whiskey or seafood. Day-to-day use is straightforward. A simple control panel with a large transparent window lets you watch the ice-making process, and you start a batch by adding water and pressing the On/Off button. The unit automatically pauses production and shows an ICE FULL indicator when it's time to remove ice, and it monitors the water level with an ADD WATER prompt. A self-clean function is activated by pressing the SELECT button, and the included ice tray is removable and washable.
