Our take on the MaKefeile Ceiling Wall Mounted Curtain Track with Hooks Flexible Aluminum Curtain Track Rod Room Divider Curtain Rail Hook Set, Black, 6 FT

The MaKefeile is a 6-foot black aluminum curtain track that mounts to either the ceiling or the wall, with hooks included for hanging curtains. The track can be cut to length, so it fits odd window widths and works as a room divider rail. At $35.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is the lowest new price among the two stores that carry it.

Best forRenters who want ceiling-mounted curtains without drilling into window framesRoom dividers and open-plan spacesWide or angled windows that standard rods don't fitSliding curtains in tight corners
Pros
  • Mounts to ceiling or wall, so it fits spaces a rod can't
  • Aluminum track is light but rigid enough for medium curtains
  • Can be cut to length for a custom fit
  • Hooks included, so no separate hardware run
  • Black finish suits modern and industrial rooms
Cons
  • 6 ft is short for large windows; longer spans need two tracks
  • Cutting the track voids any clean return or warranty claim
  • No curtain gliders or end caps listed beyond the hooks
  • Screws and anchors are not spelled out, so check your wall type
  • Aluminum can dent if the track is bent during install

Questions and answers

Is it worth it over a standard curtain rod?
Yes if you need a ceiling mount, a room divider, or a track that can be cut to fit. For a plain window with wall space on both sides, a rod is cheaper and simpler.
Can I cut it to a shorter length?
Yes, the aluminum track can be cut with a hacksaw. Cut from one end and file the edge so the hooks slide without snagging.
Does it come with mounting screws?
The set includes hooks and the track. Screws and anchors are not reliably included, so buy anchors matched to drywall, studs or concrete before installing.
Will it hold heavy blackout curtains?
It handles medium-weight curtains well. For heavy blackout panels over a long span, add a center bracket or use two tracks, since 6 ft of unsupported aluminum can sag.
When is it cheapest?
The best new price was $35.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026. Track hardware rarely discounts deeply, so watch for bundle or shipping deals rather than big markdowns.
