Is the Ice Cloud 14 good for stomach sleepers?

Usually not. The plush top lets the hips sink, which can strain the lower back for stomach sleepers. It fits side and back sleepers better.

The gel-infused foam and HyperChill cover help, and the coil layer moves air better than an all-foam bed. Hot sleepers still often add a breathable mattress protector.

Will it work on an adjustable base?

Yes. Malouf lists it as compatible with adjustable bed bases and all standard frames.

What sheets fit a 14-inch mattress?

Use deep-pocket sheets rated for at least 14 to 16 inches. Standard 12-inch sheets will pull off the corners.

Is $1,950 a good price?

That is the best new price among 3 stores as of November 5, 2026. Compare it with the queen-size price at other retailers before buying, since hybrid pricing swings with sales.

Does it come in a box?

Malouf ships this as a bed-in-a-box. It expands over about 24 to 48 hours, and the new-foam smell fades within a few days.

What reviewers say

Owner feedback on the Ice Cloud line is limited, but buyers of Malouf's cooling hybrids generally describe a soft, conforming feel and a cover that sleeps cooler than standard knit. The main complaints are that plush models soften further over time and that edge support is average for a coil bed.

Pros

Soft, cushioning top for side sleeping
Cool-to-the-touch cover
Good motion isolation from encased coils

Cons

Softens noticeably within the first year
Edge support weaker than firmer hybrids
Cover cannot be removed for cleaning
