Our take on the Marnur Faux Fur Electric Heated Blanket, Full, 72x84, Khaki

The Marnur Faux Fur Electric Heated Blanket is a full-size (72 x 84 in) corded throw-style blanket with a soft faux fur face and 10 heat settings. It is machine washable and has a long 14.43 ft cord, which helps when the nearest outlet is far from the bed or sofa. It is not NRTL-listed, a safety certification point worth weighing for an electric blanket used overnight. No current price was provided, so its standing against its recent price range cannot be stated.

Pros
  • Large 72 x 84 in size covers a full bed with overhang
  • 10 heat settings give finer control than the usual 3 to 6

  • Machine washable for routine cleaning
  • Soft faux fur surface adds warmth and comfort
Cons
  • Not NRTL-listed (no UL/ETL mark), a concern for an electric blanket

  • Corded design limits where it can be used
  • Thin review base of 9 ratings makes reliability hard to judge

Questions and answers

Is the Marnur heated blanket safe to leave on overnight?
It lacks an NRTL listing such as UL or ETL, so independent safety certification is not confirmed. Many shoppers prefer a certified blanket for overnight use; if you keep it, use lower settings and unplug it when not in use.
How big is it, and will it fit a full bed?
It measures 72 x 84 in, which covers a full mattress with some overhang on the sides and foot. It also works as a large throw on a sofa.
Can I machine wash it?
Yes, it is listed as machine washable. Detach the cord and controller first, wash on a gentle cycle, and let it air dry fully before reconnecting power.
How many heat settings does it have?
It has 10 heat settings, more granular than the 3 to 6 levels common on budget electric blankets. That gives finer control for finding a comfortable temperature.
How long is the cord?
The cord is 14.43 ft, long enough to reach an outlet across most bedrooms. Check your outlet distance before buying.
When is it cheapest?
Heated blankets usually drop in price during fall and winter sales and around Black Friday. No current price was provided, so compare live store prices before buying.
