Our take on the Marnur Heated Throw Blanket 50x60 Soft Faux Fur Electric Throw

The Marnur Heated Throw is a 50x60-inch corded electric blanket in a 300 gsm faux fur finish, with six heat settings and a 9.2 ft cord. It is machine washable and sized for one person on a couch or chair rather than a bed. At $39.89 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of what heated throws cost, and only two stores list it new.

Pros
  • Six heat settings give finer control than the usual three or four
  • 300 gsm faux fur feels thicker than thin fleece throws
  • 9.2 ft cord reaches most outlets from a sofa
  • Machine washable
  • Low price for a heated throw at $39.89
Cons
  • No NRTL safety listing, so no UL or ETL certification
  • 50x60 in is a throw size, not a full bed blanket despite the listing
  • Cotton-blend backing is less soft than the faux fur face
  • Corded only, so it ties you to an outlet

Questions and answers

Is the Marnur heated throw worth it?
At $39.89 it is a cheap way to add warmth to a couch. If you want certified electrical safety or even heat, spend more on a UL- or ETL-listed brand.
Is it safe to leave on?
It has no NRTL listing (no UL or ETL mark), so it has not been certified by a recognized safety lab. Unplug it when you are not using it and do not leave it on unattended.
Can I wash it?
Yes, it is machine washable. Detach the controller and cord first, and follow the care label for water temperature and drying.
What size is it really?
It measures 50x60 inches, which is a throw for one person. The 'Full' bed size in the listing refers to the blanket size class, not a full-size bed.
How many heat settings does it have?
Six, plus the cord is 9.2 ft long, which helps when the nearest outlet is across the room.
When is it cheapest?
Heated throws usually drop in late fall and around Black Friday. Check the price history before buying; the current best is $39.89 at eBay as of November 4, 2026.
Where is the Marnur Heated Throw Blanket 50x60 Soft Faux Fur Electric Throw cheapest?
