Is this door solid or hollow core?

It is hollow core, built from molded fiberboard with a textured woodgrain skin. That makes it light for a bifold but easier to dent than a solid door.

Does it come with hinges and track?

No. The listing shows hinge hardware type, but bifold track, pivots and pulls are typically sold separately. Check the box contents before you plan the install.

Can I paint it a dark color?

Yes. It is primed and ready to paint. Sand lightly, use a stain-blocking primer if going dark, and apply two finish coats.

Will a 36 x 80 door fit my opening?

A 36 x 80 door suits a rough opening about 2 inches wider and 2 inches taller, so roughly 38 x 82. Measure your opening before ordering.

Is $134.99 a good price?

It is the best new price among the three stores listing it as of November 7, 2026. Compare against local lumber yard pickup, since freight on a door can erase the savings.
