Is the Mast wireless pen good for beginners?

Yes, if you want one pen that covers lining and shading. The five stroke cams let you try different work without buying a second machine. The 4–10 V range is forgiving for new artists.

How long does one 900mAh battery last?

Expect a few hours of mixed work per battery, less at high voltage or with heavy packing. Two batteries are included, so you can swap mid-session and charge the spare.

What stroke should I use for lining versus shading?

Use 2.2–2.5 mm for lining and fine detail, and 2.9–3.2 mm for shading, color packing and bold work. The cams swap by hand, so changing takes a minute.

Is $121.99 a good price for this pen?

Only one store lists it new at $121.99 as of November 4, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare against. Check the price against other Mast wireless pens before buying.

What comes in the box?

The pen, two 900mAh batteries, a charging cable and the five stroke cams. Confirm the exact contents with the seller, since bundles vary.

Does it work with standard cartridge needles?
