Our take on the Mattel Masters of the Universe Classics Ram Man Figure

Ram Man is a Mattel Masters of the Universe Classics action figure of the ram-headed hero, built around a spring-loaded leg action that launches him forward. This copy is a used, boxed figure with his axe, aimed at collectors rather than kids. The Classics line is out of production, so supply is secondhand and prices swing with condition and completeness. Check the box and paint wear closely before buying, since used listings vary a lot.

  • Ram Man is a core character in the MOTU roster
Cons
  • Used condition means possible paint rub, loose joints or box damage
  • Out of production, so replacement parts are hard to find
  • Spring mechanism can weaken or jam on older figures
  • Small scale and fragile parts make it a display piece, not a toy for young kids

Questions and answers

Is this Ram Man figure worth buying used?
If you collect the Classics line and want a boxed Ram Man with his axe, a used copy is the practical route since the line is discontinued. Weigh the price against paint wear, joint tightness and box condition shown in the listing.
How does the spring action work?
The legs house a spring that drives the figure forward in a headbutt motion, matching Ram Man's gimmick from the vintage toy. Test it gently, since old springs can stiffen or lose tension.
What is included in the box?
This listing is a used, boxed figure that includes his axe. Confirm whether the box has its inserts and any collector paperwork, since those affect value.
Is it compatible with other Masters of the Universe Classics figures?
Yes. It is part of the same Classics line and scales with other figures in that collection, so it displays alongside them.
When is the best time to buy?
Secondhand Classics prices move with supply, and listings tend to be cheaper outside convention and holiday spikes. Compare current asking prices across stores before committing.
Where can I buy the Mattel Masters of the Universe Classics Ram Man Figure?
2 stores we checked sell it, including eBay, Mercari.
