Our take on the Maui Swimming Briefs

The ORTTU Maui Swimming Briefs are a low-rise men's swim brief in a printed creamy tone, with a detachable side string and a small bow. The front is double-layered and the fabric is a soft mesh blend of polyamide, metallic fiber and spandex, so it is thin and lets some light through. The brand lists one new price: $32 at ORTTU as of November 4, 2026, with no other store pricing it new.

Questions and answers

Is $32 a good price for the Maui Swimming Briefs?
ORTTU lists them at $32 as of November 4, 2026, and no other store prices them new. With a single seller, there is no cheaper competing price to compare against, so $32 is the market price right now.
How do the sizes run?
ORTTU says the briefs fit true to size and are cut for a regular fit. The size chart runs from XS to XXL by waist measurement, and the model at 6'1" and 187 lb wears a size M.
What is the fabric and how should I care for it?
The blend is 80% polyamide, 10% metallic fiber and 10% spandex, with a second version at 78% polyamide and 22% spandex. The metallic fiber and thin mesh call for hand washing in cold water and air drying.
Can I remove the side string?
Yes. The string is detachable, and at least one owner took it off because they did not like it. Removing it changes the side coverage, so adjust it before swimming.
Does the fabric really reduce tan lines?
Owners say the open weave lets sunshine through, which cuts tan lines compared with solid swim fabric. It is still a lined brief, so expect some coverage.
What is in the box?
You get the swim brief with its detachable string attached. No pouch or extra pieces are listed.
Where is the Maui Swimming Briefs cheapest?
At ORTTU, for $32.00, as of our latest check.
