Is $99.99 a good price for this stool?

Yes. At $99.99 at Lowe's as of November 3, 2026, it is at the low end of its recent range for a solid wood, upholstered stool. Comparable farmhouse counter stools often sell for $120 to $180.

Will a 26-inch stool fit my counter?

A 26-inch seat height is made for counters about 36 inches high, the standard kitchen island height. For a 42-inch bar top, you need a 30-inch stool instead.

Is the seat comfortable without a back?

The contoured saddle shape and high-density foam make it comfortable for meals and coffee. Without a back, it is less suited to hours of sitting.

How many stools come in one order?

One stool per order. If you want a pair for an island, order two.

Does it need assembly?

Yes, light assembly is required, typically attaching the legs to the seat. Owners generally describe it as quick and simple.

Is the upholstery real leather?

The seat is offered in fabric or vegan leather, not genuine leather. Both are upholstered over foam on the hardwood frame.
