Is the Phantox Pro good for espresso?

Yes. Its conical burrs and external dial reach fine espresso settings, and the maker claims fewer fines. Expect to dial in by taste, since hand grinders vary slightly unit to unit.

How much coffee does it hold?

About 30g per load. That is enough for a double espresso or a large pour-over, but you will refill for a full pot.

Is $113.33 a good price?

It is the best new price among the two stores listing it new as of November 4, 2026. With no published MSRP, compare it to other manual conical burr grinders in the $100 to $150 band.

Does it need batteries or power?

No. It is fully manual, so it works anywhere. The trade-off is that you supply the cranking effort.

What grind settings does it cover?

Fine for espresso up to coarse for French press, adjusted with the external dial. It is not a substitute for a dedicated Turkish-fine grinder.
