Our take on the Maxxmar Faux Wood Blinds

Maxxmar faux wood blinds are cordless Venetian blinds in a 58.75-inch width, made from a composite that looks like wood but resists moisture better. The cordless lift is the main draw: no dangling cords, cleaner look, and safer around kids and pets. At $127.43 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, this is the only new price we track for this size, so there is no recent range to compare it against.

Pros
  • Cordless lift clears the window of hanging cords
  • Faux wood resists moisture and humidity better than real wood
  • Venetian slats let you tilt light without raising the blind
  • 58.75-inch width fits wide windows that standard 58-inch stock misses
  • Usually cheaper than real wood blinds in the same size
Cons
  • Heavier than aluminum or cellular blinds, so lifting a wide blind takes effort
  • Slats can yellow or fade over years in strong sun
  • Only one store lists this size new, so price competition is thin
  • Custom-width fit matters; a 58.75-inch blind leaves little room for error

Questions and answers

Is $127.43 a good price for a 58.75-inch faux wood blind?
It is the only new price we track for this size, at Walmart as of November 5, 2026. Comparable cordless faux wood blinds in this width often run $100 to $180, so it sits in the normal range rather than being a standout deal.
Are these blinds safe around kids and pets?
Yes. They are cordless, so there is no looped cord to tangle in. You raise and lower them by pushing the bottom rail.
Will faux wood hold up in a bathroom?
Better than real wood, which can warp and crack with steam. Faux wood is a composite that handles humidity well, though standing water on the slats should still be wiped off.
Can I cut these blinds to fit my window?
Faux wood slats can be trimmed, but the headrail and cordless mechanism are harder to shorten. Measure your window first; a 58.75-inch blind suits openings close to that width.
What comes in the box?
Typically the blind, a headrail, mounting brackets and screws. Check the listing for a valance and whether a tilt wand is included.
How do I clean faux wood blinds?
Dust the slats with a microfiber cloth or vacuum brush. For marks, use a damp cloth with mild soap; avoid harsh solvents that can dull the finish.
Where is the Maxxmar Faux Wood Blinds cheapest?
At Walmart, for $127.43, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Maxxmar Faux Wood Blinds?
2 stores we checked sell it, including Walmart, eBay.
