Pros
  • 4 heat levels cover gentle warmth to a strong pre-warm
  • 3-hour automatic shut-off limits forgotten-on risk
  • Overheat protection adds a safety layer
  • Removable controller makes the cover washable
  • About 59 by 71 inches fits a single or small double bed
Cons
  • 100 W is modest, so warm-up is slow
  • 3-hour shut-off may be short for all-night users
  • No dual-zone control for two sleepers
  • Only one store lists it new, so price competition is thin

Questions and answers

Is the Medisana HU 674 big enough for a double bed?
At about 59 by 71 inches it suits a single bed or a small double. On a full double it will not tuck far under the mattress edges.
Can I wash the blanket?
Yes, the controller detaches and the cover is washable. Follow the care label and let it dry fully before reconnecting the controller.
Does it turn itself off?
Yes. It shuts off automatically after 3 hours, which suits pre-warming a bed rather than all-night use.
How warm does 100 W get?
It is a lower-power blanket, so expect a gradual warm-up rather than fast heat. The 4 levels let you pick a comfortable setting.
Is $77.86 a good price?
Only one store, Tiny Lux, lists it new at $77.86 as of November 7, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge against. Compare with similar 4-level blankets before deciding.
Where is the Medisana HU 674 cheapest?
At Tiny Lux, for $77.86, as of our latest check.
