It holds 16 gallons, enough for a busy kitchen, and the fingerprint-resistant finish keeps the silver surface cleaner-looking. It stands about 29 inches high and 11.3 inches wide, a slim footprint for its capacity. Its best new price is $85.99 at Macy's as of November 6, 2026, the only new price listed.

Questions and answers

Is $85.99 a good price for this can?
It is the only new price listed, $85.99 at Macy's as of November 6, 2026. With nothing else to compare, judge it against what you'd pay for any 16-gallon stainless touchless can.
How big is it, really?
It holds 16 gallons (60 liters), stands about 28.9 inches tall and is 11.3 inches wide. That is a slim, tall shape that fits beside a counter but not under most cabinets.
Does the sensor lid need batteries?
Touchless lids of this type run on batteries, so plan on replacing them every few months depending on use. Keep spare batteries on hand so the lid doesn't stop opening.
What trash bags fit it?
A 16-gallon can takes 13- to 16-gallon kitchen bags, or roughly 60-liter liners. A bag that is slightly larger lets you fold the top over the rim.
Will the stainless steel show fingerprints?
Mega Casa says the finish is fingerprint resistant, which helps on a can you touch less anyway. A quick wipe with a soft cloth keeps it looking clean.
When is it cheapest?
There is no price history to point to a low point. Watch the price around big sale events, when kitchen goods often get marked down.
Where is the Mega Casa 16 Gallon / 60L Touchless Automatic Motion Sensor Trash Can cheapest?
