Is the MM-3601 worth it over a plain lift chair?

You pay extra for the two-zone massage and lower-back heat on top of the lift. If you mainly need help standing, a basic lift chair costs less; if you want massage and heat built in, this bundles them.

How does it compare with the MM-3601's predecessor or other Mega Motion lift chairs?

The MM-3601 is a three-position chair with massage and heat. Other Mega Motion lift chairs without massage or heat do the same lifting job for less, so the extras are the main difference.

What happens to the lift in a power outage?

A built-in battery backup runs on two 9-volt batteries, which you supply. Keep fresh batteries in it so the chair can still lift you if the power goes out.

It is designed for people 5'2" to 5'10" and rated for 325 lb. It is 34 inches wide and 42 inches high, so check your room and doorway clearance before ordering.

What comes in the box?

The chair and its remotes; the two 9-volt batteries for the backup are not included. Assembly is usually just attaching the back to the base.

The only new price listed is $1,099 at Lift and Massage Chairs as of November 5, 2026. Lift chairs rarely discount deeply, so watch for holiday sales and compare against used or open-box listings.
