Is the MegaWheels A1C worth it?

At $179.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is a low-cost way to try scooter commuting. Expect short range and a firm ride rather than premium comfort.

How far can it really go on a charge?

The rated range is about 11 miles. Real range drops with hills, rider weight and full speed, so plan on less than that.

Can I ride it in the rain?

It carries an IPX5 rating, which means it tolerates sprayed water. Avoid deep puddles and never submerge it.

How long does charging take?

A full charge takes about 5.5 hours from the 164Wh battery. There is no fast-charge option listed.

How much does it weigh and can I carry it?

It weighs 32.8 lb. That is heavy for stairs or long carries, but the fold makes it easier to stow in a trunk or closet.

What size rider does it fit?

The maximum load is 220 lb. Lighter riders will get closer to the rated speed and range.
