Is the Meowell 12-inch pot big enough for a monstera or fiddle-leaf fig?

A 12-inch pot suits medium houseplants and small trees, but a large fiddle-leaf fig usually wants a 14- to 16-inch pot. Measure the current root ball before sizing up.

Does it have drainage holes?

Drainage is not stated in the product details. Check the listing or the pot itself before planting, since indoor plants in a pot without holes risk root rot.

Can it stay outside in winter?

It is listed for outdoor use, but plastic can crack in hard freezes and fade in strong sun. In cold climates, bring it in or empty it for winter.

Is $24.99 a good price for a 12-inch plastic pot?

It is a fair price for a pot this size, and it is the only new price listed as of November 8, 2026. Compare against local garden centers, where similar plastic pots often run $15 to $30.

How heavy is it when filled with soil?

The pot itself is light, but a 12-inch pot full of soil weighs roughly 20 to 30 pounds. Place it before filling, or use a saucer with casters.

Our take on the Meowell 12 inch Large Plant Pots

The Meowell 12-inch large plant pot is a plastic planter sized for floor plants and big indoor specimens, usable indoors or on a patio. Its 12-inch width suits medium houseplants, small trees and shrubs that outgrow standard 8- to 10-inch pots. The best new price is $24.99 at Amazon as of November 8, 2026, the only new price listed. Plastic keeps it light and cheap to move, but it won't match ceramic or resin for weight and finish.
