Our take on the Mercedes-Benz AMG CLA 45 12V Kids Ride-On Car with Remote

A 12V ride-on styled after the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45, with dual motors, spring suspension and a parent remote that lets an adult steer and stop it. It runs on asphalt, brick, grass and wood floors, and has working headlights and sounds. The best new price is $194.98 at Macy's as of November 5, 2026, the only new price listed.

Questions and answers

Is the parent remote worth having?
Yes for younger riders. The remote lets an adult steer and stop the car before a child can handle the pedals, and it doubles as a safety cutoff.
How long does the 12V battery last per charge?
The listing does not state run time. A 12V dual-motor car of this size typically runs 45 minutes to about an hour and a half depending on terrain and load, then needs several hours to recharge.
Can it drive on grass?
It is rated for grass along with asphalt, brick and wood floors. Dual motors and spring suspension help, but thick or wet lawn will slow it and drain the battery faster.
What age and weight is it for?
The listing gives no age or weight limit. Ride-on cars in this class usually suit roughly ages 3 to 6, so check the seat and the child's size before buying.
Is $194.98 a good price?
Macy's is the only new price listed at $194.98 as of November 5, 2026, so there is no competing new price to compare. Licensed 12V cars with a parent remote commonly sell in the $180 to $300 range.
What comes in the box?
The listing confirms the 12V battery and charger are included, plus the remote. It does not detail assembly hardware or a manual.
Where is the Mercedes-Benz AMG CLA 45 12V Kids Ride-On Car with Remote cheapest?
At Target, for $79.99, 60% off, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Mercedes-Benz AMG CLA 45 12V Kids Ride-On Car with Remote?
