Is the Heckman sleeper chair good for overnight guests?

It works for a child or a short occasional guest, but the 40-inch sleeper is short for most adults. Plan it as a backup bed, not a main one.

How big is the sleeping surface?

The chair is 40 inches wide, and the sleeper extends to roughly that width. That is narrower and shorter than a standard twin.

The listing says leather upholstery, but at this price expect a bonded or faux leather rather than full-grain hide. Wipe it with a damp cloth rather than using harsh cleaners.

Is $349.99 a good price?

It is the only new price listed, $349.99 at Wayfair as of November 6, 2026, so there is no cheaper new option to beat it. Watch for seasonal furniture sales if you are not in a hurry.

Does it come assembled?

Sleeper chairs in this class usually arrive flat-packed with the frame and legs to attach. Check the box contents before you buy if assembly matters to you.
