- Is the Dorian bed a platform bed or does it need a box spring?
- Upholstered beds in this Meridian line are built as platforms with slats, so a box spring is not required. Confirm the slat and support details with the store before ordering, since the listing here gives only size, color and material.
- How do I clean beige velvet on a bed frame?
- Vacuum with a soft brush attachment and blot spills immediately with a damp cloth. Avoid soaking the fabric and keep the bed out of direct sun, which fades beige velvet.
- Will a king Dorian fit through a standard doorway?
- The frame ships in pieces, but the headboard is the widest part. Measure your doorway, stairwell and turns against the assembled headboard width before ordering.
- Is $1,260 a good price for this bed?
- It is the only new price listed as of November 7, 2026, at 1stopbedrooms, so there is no recent range to judge it against. Compare it with other king velvet upholstered beds before deciding.
- What mattress thickness works with this bed?
- A standard king mattress of about 10 to 14 inches suits a bed like this. A very thick mattress can hide the headboard's lower channels.
- Does the Dorian come in other sizes or colors?
- Meridian Furniture typically offers its upholstered beds in queen and king and in several fabric colors. Check the store's listing for the beige velvet king specifically.
- Where is the Meridian Furniture Dorian Upholstered Bed Beige King Velvet cheapest?
- At 1stopbedrooms, for $1,260.00, as of our latest check.
