Questions and answers

Is the Merits P101 good for travel?
It folds, which helps for car transport and storage. It is still a power chair, so lifting it into a trunk takes two people for many users.
What is the weight capacity?
300 lb. The seat is 18 inches wide, a common size that fits most adult riders.
Does it come with a battery and charger?
Yes. The listing includes a battery and a charger, so you do not buy them separately.
Is $1,811 a good price?
It is the lowest of the two new prices we track, at eBay as of November 7, 2026. Given the 2.9 out of 5 rating, compare it with other folding power chairs before committing.
How does it compare with a manual wheelchair?
The power drive removes the pushing effort, which suits longer distances or weaker upper body strength. A manual chair is lighter and cheaper to maintain.

Battery life and long-term durability. Several buyers say the chair feels less sturdy after months of use.
