Is the MERSEA Little Hearth House Votive worth $28?

You are paying mostly for the house-shaped gift box and holder. A 2 oz votive burns for only a short time, so buy it as a gift, not as a value candle.

How long does a 2 oz votive last?

Expect roughly 10 to 15 hours of burn time from a 2 oz votive. That is a few evenings, not weeks.

What does Sea Pines smell like?

It is a fresh pine fragrance, closer to a winter forest than to sweet bakery scents. It suits holiday rooms and bathrooms.

What comes in the box?

The 2 oz Sea Pines votive, a shimmering holder and the green house-shaped box. The box is part of the gift presentation.

When is this candle cheapest?

Pine and holiday candles usually get marked down after December. As of November 4, 2026, the only new price listed is $28 at palmer & purchase.

Our take on the MERSEA Cider by the Sea Little Hearth House Votive

A 2 oz scented votive from MERSEA, sold in a green house-shaped gift box with a shimmering holder. The scent is Sea Pines, a fresh pine fragrance aimed at the holiday season. At $28 at palmer & purchase as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare it against. The small size and gift packaging make it a stocking-stuffer or hostess gift rather than a candle for everyday home use.
