Is the Quest 2 still worth buying?

It is a cheap way into standalone VR, but it is discontinued and no longer gets new features. If you want current software and longer support, a Quest 3 or 3S is the better buy.

Do I need a PC to use it?

No. It runs games and apps on its own. A PC is only needed for PC VR titles, connected by USB-C or Wi-Fi.

How long does the battery last?

About 2 to 3 hours of play per charge from the 3640mAh battery. A USB-C power bank extends sessions.

Is 64GB enough storage?

For a few games at a time, yes. Large titles run several GB each, so you will delete and reinstall if you build a big library.

What comes in the box?

The headset, two Touch controllers, a charging cable and power adapter, and the standard head strap. Batteries for the controllers are included.

Can I use it with glasses?

Yes, with the included spacer, and the IPD adjustment helps. Prescription lens inserts are a common alternative.

Our take on the Meta Quest 2 - 64GB

The Meta Quest 2 is a standalone VR headset with a Snapdragon XR2 chip, two 1832x1920 LCD panels, 90Hz refresh, and touch controllers included. It runs its own library of games and apps without a PC, and can also connect to a PC for PC VR. The 64GB model is the entry version; it is discontinued and now mostly sold refurbished or used, so prices vary by seller and condition.
