Our take on the Metabo HPT 18V Cordless Brushless Driver Drill & Impact Driver Combo Kit

The Metabo HPT 18V Cordless Brushless Driver Drill & Impact Driver Combo Kit pairs two brushless tools with lithium-ion batteries and a soft case. Brushless motors mean longer runtime and less maintenance than brushed tools, and the kit includes multiple batteries so one can charge while the other works. At $129 at Amazon as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the bottom of its recent range of $129 to $135.

Questions and answers

Is this kit worth it at $129?
Yes, if you want two brushless tools on one battery platform. At $129 it is at its lowest recent price, and brushless combos from major brands often cost more.
How does it compare with a 20V-max combo kit?
Metabo HPT rates this at a true 18V, while many 20V-max tools peak at 20V only on a fresh charge. Power is broadly similar, but DeWalt and Milwaukee offer larger accessory ecosystems.
What is in the box?
The kit includes the drill, the impact driver, lithium-ion batteries, a charger and a soft case. The listing does not state the exact battery amp-hour rating.
How long do the batteries last?
Runtime depends on the battery capacity and the task. For light drilling and driving, one battery typically covers a few hours of intermittent use; the second battery keeps you working while the first charges.
When is the price lowest?
The recent low was $129 on November 4, 2026, and the high was $135 on November 3. The spread is narrow, so waiting for a big drop is unlikely to pay off.
Where is the Metabo HPT 18V Cordless Brushless Driver Drill & Impact Driver Combo Kit cheapest?
At Amazon, for $129.00, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Metabo HPT 18V Cordless Brushless Driver Drill & Impact Driver Combo Kit?
