RMFN Notes:

"The greatest hard rock album of all time? Yes. Greatest album of all time PERIOD? Probably. Metallica's Black Album was and still is the ultimate gateway into heavy music. Filled with attitude, killer riffs, and outstanding songwriting, Metallica's first album of the 90s is nothing short of brilliant. We all know the singles very well, however, if you have not spun this album start to finish then you truly haven't experienced the full magic. The production quality (thanks to Bob Rock) continues to be studied to this day for all the right reasons (unlike St. Anger), making it a must-have for your collection. The Black Album has not aged a single day and remains to be as vital as ever." - Chris
