Our take on the Michael Kors Multicolor Canvas Tote Women's Bag

This is a Michael Kors women's tote in black canvas with faux-leather trim, a zip top and shoulder straps. It is a roomy everyday carry for work, travel or errands, and the zip closure keeps contents covered. The only recorded price is $99, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Questions and answers

Is this tote worth $99?
At $99 it is a mid-range price for a designer canvas tote. You are paying partly for the Michael Kors name; comparable non-designer canvas totes cost less but lack the branding.
Is it real leather?
No. The body is canvas and the trim is faux leather. Expect a lighter bag than an all-leather tote, with less durability at the corners and handles.
Will it fit a laptop?
The tote is large enough for most 13- to 15-inch laptops plus a notebook and water bottle. Check the listed dimensions before buying if you carry a larger laptop.
Does it have a zip closure?
Yes, the main compartment closes with a zipper. That keeps contents covered on commutes and in crowds, unlike open-top totes.
What colors are available?
This listing is the black colorway. Michael Kors has released this tote in other canvas colorways, so check the specific listing for the color you want.
When is it cheapest?
The only recorded price is $99 as of October 29, 2026, so there is no lower point to wait for yet. Department-store sales and seasonal promotions are the usual times designer bags drop.
