Is the Michael Kors Hera sandal comfortable for walking?

It is a flat thong sandal with no heel, so it is fine for short errands and casual days. The toe post and thin leather straps give little cushioning, so it is not built for long walks or standing all day.

Does it run true to size?

Michael Kors sandals generally run true to size, and this one is listed in medium width. If you are between sizes or have a wide foot, size up, since the slingback strap has limited adjustment.

Yes. The upper and straps are genuine leather, which softens with wear but needs a short break-in period.

Can I wear it to the beach or pool?

It is leather, so keep it away from prolonged water. It works for a resort lunch or boardwalk, but a rubber flip-flop is the better choice for surf and poolside.

When is the best time to buy it?

Prices on flat designer sandals drop most in late summer and end-of-season clearance. Check the price history before buying at full price in spring or early summer.

Our take on the Michael Kors Women's Hera Corded Sandal

The Michael Kors Hera is a women's flat thong sandal in genuine leather, with a slingback strap and a round open toe. It is a casual summer style with no heel, so it suits everyday wear rather than anything dressy. It is a current-season Michael Kors sandal, so its price sits near the top of the flat-sandal market and moves little outside end-of-season sales.
