Is the Michael Kors Jet Set Medium Pocket Tote real leather?

No. This version is faux leather or canvas, depending on the colorway. Full-price Jet Set bags in saffiano leather are a separate, more expensive product.

Does it fit a laptop?

A 13-inch laptop can fit but sits tight and leaves little room for much else. For daily laptop carry, a larger tote is a better fit.

Does it have a crossbody strap?

It is sold as a shoulder bag and tote, and some versions include a longer strap for crossbody wear. Check the specific listing for the strap before buying.

Is it worth it compared with a full-price Michael Kors tote?

If you want the look at a lower price, yes. If you want leather and sturdier hardware, a full-price leather Jet Set tote is the better buy.

When is the best time to buy it?

Outlet and department-store sales around major holidays and end-of-season clearances tend to bring the lowest prices. Compare the current price against its recent range before buying.
