Is the Surface Pro Keyboard worth $129.99?

If you own a compatible Surface Pro and type regularly, yes. The backlight and touchpad make the tablet usable as a laptop, and $129.99 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026 is the only new price listed.

Which Surface Pro models does it fit?

It is made for Surface Pro tablets with the magnetic keyboard connector. Check your model's generation before buying, because the fit and pogo-pin layout differ across generations.

Does it have a battery?

No. It draws power through the connector on the tablet, so there is nothing to charge separately.

Is a touchpad included?

Yes. It has a built-in touchpad plus a backlit QWERTY keyboard, so you can skip a separate mouse for basic work.
