Questions and answers

Is the Mido Baroncelli worth it at $662.50?

At $662.50 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is a fair entry into Swiss automatics. You pay for the movement and finishing, not for complications or brand hype.

How does it compare with the Tissot Le Locle?

Both are Swiss automatics in the same price class. The Mido has a 40mm case and a clean dial; the Le Locle often adds a date and costs less, but the Mido's case finishing is a step up.

Do I need to wind it?

It is an automatic, so wearing it keeps it running. If you leave it off for a day or two, wind the crown about 20 turns to restart it.

Is 40mm too big for a dress watch?

No. 40mm is a middle size that fits most wrists, though it will look large on wrists under about 6 inches.

What is in the box?

You get the watch on its steel bracelet, the Mido box and papers. Check the listing for warranty terms, since eBay sellers vary.

When is it cheapest?

Grey-market and eBay listings like the $662.50 price as of November 4, 2026 tend to undercut authorized dealers. Watch for seasonal sales and compare both stores before buying.
