Our take on the Mil-Tec Molle Smartphone Bag

The Mil-Tec MOLLE Smartphone Bag is a small black nylon pouch that mounts to MOLLE webbing on backpacks, vests and belts. It measures about 9.3 by 14.5 inches in the listed dimensions and weighs 3.88 oz, so it adds little bulk. At $10.30 at Motoin as of November 7, 2026, it is a low-cost accessory with only one new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Questions and answers

Will it fit my phone?
The listing gives a width of 93.0 and a height of 14.5 inches, which is far larger than any phone. Treat those figures as unreliable and check the actual pouch opening with the seller before buying.
How does it attach?
It uses MOLLE straps that weave through webbing on a backpack, vest or belt. It needs a MOLLE panel; it does not clip to a bare belt on its own.
Is $10.30 a good price?
Only one new price is listed, $10.30 at Motoin as of November 7, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare. For a small nylon pouch, that is a low price.
Is it waterproof?
No waterproof rating is given. The black nylon shell may shed light rain, but a phone inside is not protected from heavy rain or submersion.
What is in the box?
The pouch itself. No mounting hardware or phone case is included; the MOLLE straps are part of the bag.
Does it work on a regular backpack?
Only if the backpack has MOLLE or PALS webbing. Packs without webbing have nothing for the straps to weave through.
Where is the Mil-Tec Molle Smartphone Bag cheapest?
At Motoin, for $10.30, as of our latest check.
