Is the Milwaukee M12 ROVER flood light worth it?

It is worth it if you already own M12 batteries and want a small, tough light for tight work areas. If you need to light a large room or a yard, a brighter corded or higher-output light makes more sense.

Does it come with a battery and charger?

This is the 2367-20 tool only, so plan on an M12 battery and charger unless you already have them. Check the listing contents before ordering.

How long does it run on a battery?

Runtime depends on the M12 pack you use; a larger capacity pack lasts longer. Expect a few hours at full output from a compact pack and longer from an XC battery.

How bright is 700 lumens in practice?

700 lumens is roughly a strong work light for a small area, like under a sink or inside a cabinet. It is not enough to flood a whole garage or replace a mounted security light.

Is it weatherproof enough for outdoor use?

It is built for jobsite use, but it is not a permanently mounted outdoor fixture. Bring it in after use rather than leaving it out in rain.

When is the best time to buy it?

The only price on record is $90.78 as of October 31, 2026. Tool prices often dip around holiday sales, so watch the price history before buying.

Our take on the Milwaukee M12 ROVER LED Flood Light

The Milwaukee M12 ROVER is a compact 700-lumen LED flood light that runs on the M12 12-volt battery system. It has a 110-degree beam, an overmolded grip, and weighs under a pound, so it is easy to carry and set down where you need light. It is aimed at trade work and home use rather than permanent mounting. The only price on record is $90.78 as of October 31, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare against yet.
