Our take on the Milwaukee M18 FUEL Rolling PACKOUT 4 Tool Combo Kit

This is a four-tool Milwaukee M18 FUEL cordless kit built around a rolling PACKOUT case: an impact driver, a grinder, and two more M18 FUEL tools, with two batteries and a charger. FUEL brushless motors are the step up from Milwaukee's brushed tools, and the PACKOUT case stacks with the rest of the system. At $699 at Home Depot as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against. The kit weighs about 45 lb, so the wheels matter.

Pros

  • Impact driver rated at 2,000 in-lb of torque
  • Rolling PACKOUT case stacks with other PACKOUT boxes
  • Two M18 batteries and a charger included
  • One battery platform across four tools
Cons
  • About 45 lb loaded, so it is heavy to lift into a truck
  • Only one new price listed, so no way to judge the deal
  • Grinder and impact driver are named; the other two tools are not spelled out in the listing
  • PACKOUT case is plastic and adds bulk versus a bag

Questions and answers

Is this kit worth $699?
At $699 at Home Depot as of November 4, 2026, you get four FUEL tools, two batteries, a charger and a rolling PACKOUT case. Buying those separately usually costs more, so the kit is reasonable if you need most of the tools.
Which tools are in the kit?
The listing names the 2853-20 impact driver and the 2880-20 grinder, plus two more M18 FUEL tools. Confirm the full tool list with the store before buying.
Does it work with my existing M18 batteries?
Yes. All M18 tools run on any M18 18V battery, and the kit includes two batteries and a charger.
How heavy is it to move?
About 45 lb with the case and batteries. The wheels handle flat ground, but lifting it into a truck bed takes effort.
Does the PACKOUT case stack with other PACKOUT boxes?
Yes. The rolling case uses the PACKOUT connection, so it stacks and locks with other PACKOUT products.
When is it cheapest?
Only one new price is listed, so there is no recent low to point to. Milwaukee kits often drop during holiday sales, so watch for those.
Where is the Milwaukee M18 FUEL Rolling PACKOUT 4 Tool Combo Kit cheapest?
At Home Depot, for $699.00, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Milwaukee M18 FUEL Rolling PACKOUT 4 Tool Combo Kit?
3 stores we checked sell it, including Home Depot, Northern Tool, S.W. Collins.
