Our take on the Mingdaln 1.85 inch HD Smart Watch

The Mingdaln 1.85 inch HD Smart Watch is a budget smartwatch with a large rectangular TFT LCD touchscreen, Bluetooth phone notifications, voice activation and a rated 240-hour (10-day) battery life. It pairs with Android 4.4+ and iOS 8.0+ phones and has a plastic case, 24 mm rubber sport band and 2 m water resistance. At $23.99 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the low end of its price range, which is typical for a no-name watch in this class. Its 3.1/5 rating from 1,500 ratings signals mixed owner satisfaction.

Pros

Cons
  • TFT LCD panel, not OLED: weaker contrast and outdoor visibility
  • Only 128 MB of internal memory and no cellular plan
  • Plastic case and basic rubber band feel cheap
  • 2 m rating is splash-level, not swim-proof
  • 3.1/5 average from 1,500 ratings is below par

Questions and answers

Is the Mingdaln smart watch worth $23.99?
At $23.99 it is a cheap way to get notifications and a step counter on your wrist. Expect basic accuracy and a plastic build; it is not a substitute for a Fitbit or Apple Watch.
Does it work with an iPhone?
Yes, it lists iOS 8.0 and higher as compatible, alongside Android 4.4 and higher. Some features, such as replying to messages, are usually limited on iOS.
How long does the battery really last?
Mingdaln rates it at 240 hours, about 10 days. Real use with notifications and screen wake-ups typically lands well short of that, so plan on charging roughly weekly.
Can I swim with it?
No. It is rated to 2 m of water resistance, which covers splashes and hand washing but not swimming or showering.
What is in the box?
Typically the watch, a magnetic charging cable and a short manual. A spare band or screen protector is not usually included.
When is it cheapest?
Budget watches like this drop most around Black Friday and back-to-school sales. At $23.99 it is already near the bottom of its range, so waiting saves little.
Where is the Mingdaln 1.85 inch HD Smart Watch cheapest?
At Walmart, for $23.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Mingdaln 1.85 inch HD Smart Watch?
Rated 3.1 out of 5 from 1,500 ratings.
