Our take on the Mini Camera 720P HD WiFi Security Camera

This is a small 720P WiFi camera with night vision and motion sensing, sold for indoor or outdoor use in black. It is a budget, no-name model, so expect basic app-based streaming and recording rather than the polish of a major brand. At $28.09 at LightInTheBox as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of what small WiFi cameras cost. Only one store lists it new, so there is no price competition to shop around.

Questions and answers

Is 720P good enough for a security camera?
It is enough to see who is at a door or what moved in a room, but faces and plates get blurry at distance. If you need detail, a 1080P or 2K camera is worth the extra money.
Can it really be used outdoors?
The listing says indoor and outdoor, but a small budget camera like this usually has no serious weather sealing. Mount it under an eave or porch roof rather than in direct rain.
Does it need a subscription?
Most cameras in this class record to a microSD card and offer cloud storage as an optional paid extra. Check the app before buying if local-only recording matters to you.
How does it compare with a brand-name mini camera?
Brand-name cameras cost more but bring better apps, firmware updates and support. This one wins on price at $28.09; it loses on reliability and long-term software.
Is $28.09 a good price?
It is a low price for a WiFi camera with night vision, and only one store lists it new as of November 4, 2026, so there is little to compare against. Treat it as a cheap trial camera rather than a long-term investment.
Where is the Mini Camera 720P HD WiFi Security Camera cheapest?
At LightInTheBox, for $28.09, as of our latest check.
