Is the Minolta MNDM625 worth it?

It suits casual night viewing and recording where a screen and 4K video matter more than optical sharpness. Serious hunters usually prefer true optical night vision or thermal, which cost far more.

Does it work in complete darkness?

Yes, with its 850nm 3W infrared illuminator, though range is limited and the IR beam can be seen by some animals and other people using night vision.

What is the real magnification?

Optical magnification is fixed at 6x. The 8x figure is digital zoom, which crops and enlarges the image and lowers detail.

What comes in the box?

Expect the monocular, a carry strap or pouch and a USB cable for charging and file transfer. Confirm the exact bundle with the seller before ordering.

Can I use it for daytime viewing?

Yes, but 6x magnification and a 25mm lens give a narrow field of view, and the IR illuminator should stay off in daylight.
