Is $498.99 a good price for this bunk bed?

It is the only new price listed, $498.99 at Lowe's as of November 8, 2026. With one seller there is no lower recent price to compare, so judge it against similar twin house bunk beds with storage.

What mattresses does it take?

It is a twin bed, so it takes standard twin mattresses. Use a low-profile mattress on the top bunk so the guardrail stays well above the sleeper.

Does it include storage?

Yes, built-in storage is listed as a feature. Check the listing for how the storage is arranged, such as drawers or shelves, before you buy.

Is it safe for a young child on the top bunk?

It has guardrails on the upper bunk, which help. Most bunk bed makers recommend the top bunk for children age 6 and older, and you should confirm the weight limit.

How hard is assembly?

Bunk beds with storage take longer than a standard bed, and two people make it easier. Build it in the room where it will stay, since a full frame is awkward to move.
