- Does this bed need a box spring?
- No. It is a platform frame, so a twin mattress sits directly on the slats.
- How much storage do the drawers hold?
- Two drawers run under the frame, roughly the depth of a standard under-bed drawer. They suit clothes, linens or toys, not bulky items.
- What mattress size fits it?
- A standard twin mattress. The frame is built for twin only, so a full or twin XL will not fit.
- Is $216.99 a good price?
- It is the only new price listed as of November 7, 2026, at Lowe's. Comparable twin platform beds with drawers often sell in the $200 to $300 range, so it sits at the low end.
- Will the drawers work on carpet?
- Drawers that roll on the floor can drag on thick carpet. They work best on hard floors or low-pile rugs.
- What is in the box?
- The frame parts, two drawers, slats and hardware for assembly. The mattress is sold separately.
- Where is the ModernLuxe Twin Size Platform With Two Drawers Espresso WF195910AAP cheapest?
- At Lowe's, for $216.99, as of our latest check.
