- Does the Moe's Home Simon bed need a box spring?
- No. It is a platform bed, so a mattress can sit directly on the slats. A box spring would add unnecessary height.
- What kind of storage does it have?
- The listing describes built-in storage, but it does not specify drawers or a lift-up compartment. Confirm the storage type with the seller before buying.
- What is the bed made of?
- The frame combines wood, plywood and MDF, and the upholstery is polyester. That is a common mix at this price, but it is not solid hardwood.
- Is $2,299 a good price for this bed?
- Only one store lists it new at $2,299 as of November 7, 2026, so there is no lower new price to compare. Watch for markdowns, since a single seller sets the market here.
- How tall is the headboard?
- The overall height is about 51 inches. That is tall enough to sit against comfortably but may cover part of a low window.
- Does it fit a standard queen mattress?
- Yes. It is a queen platform bed and takes a standard queen mattress, which is sold separately.
- Where is the Moe's Home Simon Brown Plywood Upholstered Queen Platform cheapest?
- At Kathy Kuo Home, for $2,299.00, as of our latest check.
