Our take on the Moifoi 20-Bar Espresso Machines Semi-Automatic Espresso Machines with Milk Frother Steam Wand

The Moifoi is a semi-automatic espresso machine with a 20-bar electromagnetic pump, a 0.3-gallon reservoir and a steam wand for frothing milk. It brews from ground coffee and also accepts Nespresso pods, so it covers both hands-on and quick-cup use. NTC temperature control and a 15-minute auto power-off round out the feature set. It is a budget-priced stainless-steel unit with a small but real owner base.

Questions and answers

Is the Moifoi 20-bar machine worth it?
For a low-cost first espresso machine that also takes Nespresso pods, yes. If you want café-grade consistency, save for a machine with a 58mm portafilter and PID control.
Does 20 bar make better espresso?
No. Espresso extracts best around 9 bar; the 20-bar pump rating is peak pressure, not brew pressure. The extra headroom mainly helps the steam wand.
Can it use Nespresso pods and ground coffee?
Yes. It is listed as compatible with both coffee powder and Nespresso pods, so you can switch between them.
How often do I refill the water tank?
The reservoir holds 0.3 gallons, roughly 8 to 10 single espressos. Expect to refill every few days in daily use.
Does it come with a grinder or tamper?
The listing does not specify included accessories beyond the machine and milk frother wand. Assume you need your own grinder and tamper for ground coffee.
When is the price lowest?
Budget espresso machines usually dip during Black Friday and Prime Day sales. Check the price history before buying outside those windows.
