Our take on the Monitor Audio Bronze 200 Floorstanding Speaker

The Monitor Audio Bronze 200 is a two-and-a-half-way floorstanding speaker with a 1-inch gold dome tweeter, a 5.5-inch C-CAM mid-bass driver and two 5.5-inch bass drivers. It is a slim tower that suits stereo music and home theater front channels, and it can be used as an Atmos-enabled height speaker. The best new price is $799 at Audio Advice as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no lower price to compare against right now.

Questions and answers

Is the Bronze 200 worth it at $799?
At $799 at Audio Advice as of November 4, 2026, it is a fair price for a three-driver tower with Atmos support. Only one store lists it new, so watch for a lower listing before buying.
Do I need a subwoofer with the Bronze 200?
No for most music. The two bass drivers reach low enough for stereo listening in a normal room. Add a subwoofer for movie LFE effects or very large rooms.
Can I use the Bronze 200 as an Atmos speaker?
Yes, it is listed as Dolby Atmos enabled. You still need an Atmos-capable AV receiver and the correct height or upward-firing setup.
What amplifier power does the Bronze 200 need?
It is rated to 120 W maximum. A receiver or amp rated around 50 to 120 W per channel into 8 ohms is a sensible match.
What is in the box?
The set includes the pair of floorstanding speakers. Check the listing for grilles, spikes and feet, since package contents can differ by seller.
When is the Bronze 200 cheapest?
Prices usually dip during holiday sales and when a new Bronze generation launches. With one new listing at $799, compare against used and open-box offers.
Where is the Monitor Audio Bronze 200 Floorstanding Speaker cheapest?
At Audio Advice, for $799.00, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Monitor Audio Bronze 200 Floorstanding Speaker?
Rated 5 out of 5 from 77 ratings.
