Our take on the Morgane Fabric Estate Sofa

The Morgane Fabric Estate Sofa is a 93-inch-wide contemporary sofa with track arms, nailhead trim and tufting, upholstered in a 90% polyester, 10% acrylic blend over a pine, hardwood and engineered wood frame. Seat depth is 26 inches and seat height 25 inches, so it sits tall and deep for lounging. Cushions are reversible and detachable. At $999 at Macy's as of November 4, 2026, it is the lowest new price among the two stores listing it.

Pros
  • Wide 93-inch footprint seats three comfortably
  • Reversible, detachable cushions extend wear life
  • Tall 25-inch seat height suits older or taller users
  • Neutral polyester-acrylic fabric is easy to clean
  • Nailhead and tufting add detail without a busy look
Cons
  • 43-inch depth takes up real floor space

  • Tufting and nailhead trim limit restyling options
  • Pine and engineered wood frame is not a hardwood-only build
  • Only two stores list it, so price competition is thin

Questions and answers

Is the Morgane Estate Sofa worth $999?
At $999 at Macy's as of November 4, 2026, it is a fair price for a 93-inch tufted sofa with reversible cushions. Comparable fabric sofas of this width often run higher, but the pine and engineered wood frame is a step below all-hardwood builds.
How firm is the seat?
Owners describe it as on the firm side, which suits lounging and getting up easily but not deep sink-in comfort. A topper helps if you want a softer seat.
Will it fit through my door?
It is 93 inches wide and 43 inches deep, so check doorways and hallways before ordering. Detachable cushions and legs help, but the frame itself is one piece.
What is the upholstery made of?
The fabric is 90% polyester and 10% acrylic with a smooth, plain texture. It wipes clean easily but can pill and build static in dry rooms.
Are the cushions removable?
Yes. The seat and back cushions are reversible and detachable, so you can rotate them to even out wear and vacuum underneath.
When is it cheapest?
Sofa prices at department stores usually dip around major holiday sales. Track the price history here and compare both stores before buying.
