Our take on the Moroccan Metal Candle Lantern, Vintage Decorative Hanging Lamp, Bronze

A bronze-finished metal lantern in a Moroccan style, built to sit on a table or hang from a hook. The pierced metal panels throw patterned light from a candle inside, which is the main draw for patios, weddings and cozy corners. It is a decorative piece, not a light source you would rely on for brightness. No price was given for this listing, so compare store prices before buying.

Questions and answers

Is it worth it?
If you want a decorative accent that looks good lit or unlit, yes. If you need actual light for a room or path, a battery lantern or string lights do the job better.
Can it hang, or is it tabletop only?
Both. It has a hanging loop and a flat base, so you can hang it from a hook or set it on a table.
What size candle does it take?
The listing does not state a size. Measure the inner base before buying; most lanterns of this style take a pillar candle around 2 to 3 inches wide, and a votive in a glass holder is the safer fit.
Is it safe to use outdoors?
It handles a covered porch or patio fine, but rain and long damp spells will dull the bronze finish. Bring it in when not in use.
When is it cheapest?
Decorative lanterns usually drop around weddings season and the winter holidays, and again in January clearance. Check the price history before buying.
